Yes, it is possible to be free of tobacco! It is time to put your past failures to rest.

Two very important events caused me to become interested in tobacco addiction. First, my mother died of lung cancer in 2006, which was due to many years of smoking. Secondly, as Health Services Coordinator for Lebanon Community Schools in 2007, I was asked to work with high school youth who were struggling with this problem. Through these experiences, God sparked a passion in me to see people set-free from nicotine addiction. I experienced a strong leading by God to develop this program.

Empowered To Quit is a comprehensive faith-based program. You will find it much different than picking up a short brochure at the doctor's office that leaves you with more questions than it answers. It provides you with up-to-date information and strategies that will become building blocks for success. In addition, I will also provide email support for any questions that may arise. You no longer have to struggle alone with this issue.

Program manuals are available for purchase through this website. Better yet, take a complete class! If you live in the Linn county, Oregon area, a new class will be starting in October, 2009. If not, I will endeavor to connect you with a Parish Nurse or Faith Community Nurse who can help you with this challenge.

You may ask, "What is a Parish Nurse or Faith Community Nurse? Simply put, Parish Nurses are Registered Nurses, with special training, who actively promote health (spirit, soul, and body) in their Faith Communities and beyond.
